Journey from Alicante Airport to Superior Calpe Pearl

The journey from the airport to the apartment was fine, However the return journey from the apartment to the airport was a disaster, 1) The Driver text and said he would be late, this is not acceptable when travelling to an airport, 2) the driver turned up 45 minutes late. Stress levels are now mounting as you normally book a cab knowing that you have 2 hours to check in and go through l security. 3) the driver turned up in an unsuitable vehicle for 4 passengers and 4 suitcases with hand luggage. 5) the driver who collected us from the airport said he would be returning us to the airport, and I explained that there are 4 passé and 4 suitcases. The driver spent 5-10 minutes struggling to get 4 suitcases in to an inadequate vehicle, we are now 1 hour late and should have been at the airport. My wife’s stress levels are now through the roof and spoilt her Holiday. No one has accepted responsibility, however the driver insisted on the money upfront for the return journey. I will be pursuing this matter legally if needed.

Hello Mark Awards, As you know, that day we called you 30 minutes before pickup to inform you that the driver was stuck in a traffic jam and it was a serious car accident and there was no other way to get out of this traffic jam. Because of this the driver was late! and the car, as you know, was a station wagon and everything fit in it. I apologize again to you and your family for the delay, but in this case we cannot get to you faster. kind regards

Pick up from alicante airport was on time, took few moments to fine driver but had our name on card. Was a bit concerned paying full amount on arrival drop off as concerned wouldn't pick us up for return journey! This was not the case as was waiting promptly for return journey. Would use company again. Professional and polite. Spoke good English and happy for us to practice our broken spainish on him!
