About Alpinbus

Alpinbus is your ultimate choice to private airport transfers in the Alpine region across southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, French and the Italian Alps . Our experienced drivers will wait you upon your arrival and will drive you from the airport, railway station, hotel or anywhere you need.

With a private transfer, your trip is set up for comfort, speed and freedom. You no longer have to study the routes and schedules of public transport, frantically check the time for fear of being late and carry heavy luggage.

We use 8-seater minibuses, so any group up to this number on a private transfer would normally travel together in one vehicle. If you book a private transfer for 10 passengers, you will leave in two private minibuses as soon as you arrive. You can spread the group over both minibuses, however you would like.

Minibuses are fully equipped for safe Alpine driving - air conditioning, snow tyres and chains.

Vehicles in the fleet

Alpinbus fleet consists of long wheel base 8-seater Volkswagen, Renault, Opel, Mercedes and Ford minibuses and they are new. We usually rotate our vehicles every 2 and a half years so you can rest assured that you will always be collected in an up-to-date model.

Minibuses are fully equipped for safe Alpine driving - air condition, snow tyres, chains, etc.

Journey from GENEVA to CHINAILLON

Transfers were quick, very efficient and the drivers were very friendly and helpful. Pick up at the airport was seamless and the driver had a clear electronic sign with my name on it so very easy to spot in chaotic arrival area of Geneva airport. Pick fom chalet for return journey was punctual and efficient. Text messages ahead of both journeys confirmed bookings and drivers’ contact details. Vehicles were clean, modern and comfortable.

Journey from Zurich Airport (ZRH) to Schneiderhof Hotel Garni Superior

Our first driver had us trekking through the airport garage with all our luggage and ski equipment. Why couldn’t he have had us wait on the sidewalk while he got the van? He did a head bob halfway through the ride, and we were terrified he would fall asleep at the wheel. He then dropped us at the end of the pedestrian way when vehicles making deliveries could enter. The return trip was with a much better driver however he arrived twenty minutes late in a snowstorm which had been forecasted for days. Why wasn’t the scheduled pickup made earlier taking the weather into consideration. Because the driver knew shortcuts, we just narrowly made our flight.

Driver followed the usual procedure and was waiting for passengers in the arrivals with a sign, not sure what you mentioned with " why he could not wait on the sidewalk" . We have never received claims regarding the meeting procedure in airports. If we would have received your feedback and comments after the first transfer, there would be a better possibility to investigate this case and offer you some discount for the difficulties caused, however we received your feedback only after the second transfer. Our driver absolutely denies that he felt asleep during the transfer, it was midday and that was his only transfer, that doesn't make any sense. Usually we deliver our clients to the airport two hours before scheduled departure time. Your transfer was scheduled at 12:25, as the transfer takes around 2,5 hours, approximate arrival time at the airport should have been around 15:00. We do monitor weather conditions and we set pick up times accordingly, but unfortunately we can not predict the weather and be 100% sure, when it might be snowing more or less. Journey from Munich Airport to Vomperberg

The driver was very helpful and patient. He met us on time and helped with all our bags. He even stopped at Macdonalds so we can get breakfast. This was our first experience and it was awesome! We will definitely be going back!!
