About Alpinbus

Alpinbus is your ultimate choice to private airport transfers in the Alpine region across southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, French and the Italian Alps . Our experienced drivers will wait you upon your arrival and will drive you from the airport, railway station, hotel or anywhere you need.

With a private transfer, your trip is set up for comfort, speed and freedom. You no longer have to study the routes and schedules of public transport, frantically check the time for fear of being late and carry heavy luggage.

We use 8-seater minibuses, so any group up to this number on a private transfer would normally travel together in one vehicle. If you book a private transfer for 10 passengers, you will leave in two private minibuses as soon as you arrive. You can spread the group over both minibuses, however you would like.

Minibuses are fully equipped for safe Alpine driving - air conditioning, snow tyres and chains.

Vehicles in the fleet

Alpinbus fleet consists of long wheel base 8-seater Volkswagen, Renault, Opel, Mercedes and Ford minibuses and they are new. We usually rotate our vehicles every 2 and a half years so you can rest assured that you will always be collected in an up-to-date model.

Minibuses are fully equipped for safe Alpine driving - air condition, snow tyres, chains, etc.

Journey from GENEVA to CHINAILLON

Despite the very late arrival of our flight, the driver met us in the arrivals hall with no issue. The drive to the resort was quick and the pre-arranged stop (for a small additional fee) to food shop en route to the chalet went smoothly and proved very useful. The driver was very polite and friendly. Our return trip went equally well with the driver arriving punctually, the only downside being the drop off facility at GVA airport. This was somewhat manic with the sheer volume of traffic at that time of day (Sunday 0945) and we were deposited curbside with no protection for us or our bags in a sudden downpour of rain. This was no fault of the driver or bus company however and it would not stop us booking another transfer with Alpinbus or recommending them to other users.

Journey from Genève Aéroport (GVA) to Montalbert

Excellent service all round and it went like clockwork. The driver was waiting for us in arrivals, took us straight to the vehicle (which was clean and as described) and we were on our way very quickly. At our destination, the address was very vague but our driver drove around and got us there. The day before pickup I sent a text to the driver giving him exact details of the pickup and he responded quickly. On pickup, the driver arrived exactly on time and it again it all went smoothly. Being given the phone numbers of the drivers and not just Alpinbus certainly makes you feel more confident everything is going to work. I definitely recommend them.

Journey from Genève Aéroport (GVA) to Méribel-Mottaret

Great service. Our flight was two hours late arriving and they were waiting patiently for us, despite it being midnight on a Sunday by the time we got in. Arrived early for our return journey. Only thing is that the route was not the best so took an extra 50 mins getting to GVA on the return. Someone with local road knowledge would have known not to go through Annecy at 6pm.
