About Alpinbus

Alpinbus is your ultimate choice to private airport transfers in the Alpine region across southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, French and the Italian Alps . Our experienced drivers will wait you upon your arrival and will drive you from the airport, railway station, hotel or anywhere you need.

With a private transfer, your trip is set up for comfort, speed and freedom. You no longer have to study the routes and schedules of public transport, frantically check the time for fear of being late and carry heavy luggage.

We use 8-seater minibuses, so any group up to this number on a private transfer would normally travel together in one vehicle. If you book a private transfer for 10 passengers, you will leave in two private minibuses as soon as you arrive. You can spread the group over both minibuses, however you would like.

Minibuses are fully equipped for safe Alpine driving - air conditioning, snow tyres and chains.

Vehicles in the fleet

Alpinbus fleet consists of long wheel base 8-seater Volkswagen, Renault, Opel, Mercedes and Ford minibuses and they are new. We usually rotate our vehicles every 2 and a half years so you can rest assured that you will always be collected in an up-to-date model.

Minibuses are fully equipped for safe Alpine driving - air condition, snow tyres, chains, etc.

Journey from Geneva Airport to LA CHAPELLE-D`ABONDANCE

Both drivers we had were really pleasant people. Very confident and sensible drivers, which on some of the alpine roads, was really assuring to us. On our return journey, our driver had a little trouble with snow in the driveway when he came to collect us and as a result there were a few issues with putting snow chains on. He was almost 20mins early though so there were no timing issues. Over all, great, safe door to door service and would recommend and use again. Thanks!

all worked fine - from a timely pick-up at the airport, over a helpful driver to a convenient and safe drive. Only the multitude of incoming textings ahead abd changes of drivers' cell phone numbers were a little bit annoying, but otherwise all well-organised.

Journey from Zurich Airport to St Anton am Arlberg

Reliable and friendly service with a responsive head office. Engaged the transfer service of Alpinbus between Zurich and St Anton. Both ways, the transport arrived spot on time and greeted by drivers who spoke English. Head office replied to emails usually within a day, and they have a 24hr contact phone number (which was assuring). Would definitely use their service again, and no hesitation to recommend to others.

Journey from Salzburg Airport to Westendorf

The pick up was perfect, helpful and friendly driver and a very nice vehicle. It all went well, paid this driver the outstanding balance in Euros. The return journey was a different driver, the pick up was on time. Sadly the vehicle smelt really badly of cigarettes, sickly and disgusting and it made my daughter and I feel quite ill on the journey of an hour and 15 minutes. The driver didn't seem to know how to get out of the town we were in and used a satnav on his phone, whilst he was driving he was using his phone with one hand which was very concerning. When we arrived at the airport the driver didn't seem to know where he was going and circled around twice. When we stopped he asked again for the payment I had given the driver on our arrival. He didn't speak English, so we struggled to communicate that I had already paid. It took about 10 minutes, where he wasn't happy for us to get out of the vehicle until he had checked with someone over the phone (assume the office). They cleared up the fact that I had indeed paid, and we were then allowed to leave the vehicle. He did apologise but it was not a pleasant experience in any way. A big contrast to the first driver on arrival. My scores therefore represent the return journey more so.

Journey from Zurich Airport to VAYA Resorts

The pick up and drop off were both right on time. The driver was kind and flexible when we made our immediate request. The vehicle itself was spacious enough to fit 7 people and each person's baggage, but the temperature inside the vehicle felt too hot sometimes, so might need to adjust the temperature if you need to.

Journey from SALZBURG to OBERTRAUN

The airport pick up and transfer to resort on 16th dec was excellent . v efficient and as expected. The return journey from obertraun to Salzburg on 21st December , was very stressful, with an eratic driver pulling in and out of petrol forecourts without fuelling mini bus. Having to do numerous u turns along the way , driving extremely slowly to the point that we were concerned with his motives. We were very relieved to reach the airport .Complete contrast to the trip on the way there. No idea why the driver behaved as he did .
