About Alpinbus

Alpinbus is your ultimate choice to private airport transfers in the Alpine region across southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, French and the Italian Alps . Our experienced drivers will wait you upon your arrival and will drive you from the airport, railway station, hotel or anywhere you need.

With a private transfer, your trip is set up for comfort, speed and freedom. You no longer have to study the routes and schedules of public transport, frantically check the time for fear of being late and carry heavy luggage.

We use 8-seater minibuses, so any group up to this number on a private transfer would normally travel together in one vehicle. If you book a private transfer for 10 passengers, you will leave in two private minibuses as soon as you arrive. You can spread the group over both minibuses, however you would like.

Minibuses are fully equipped for safe Alpine driving - air conditioning, snow tyres and chains.

Vehicles in the fleet

Alpinbus fleet consists of long wheel base 8-seater Volkswagen, Renault, Opel, Mercedes and Ford minibuses and they are new. We usually rotate our vehicles every 2 and a half years so you can rest assured that you will always be collected in an up-to-date model.

Minibuses are fully equipped for safe Alpine driving - air condition, snow tyres, chains, etc.

Journey from Friedrichshafen to St. Anton Am Arlberg

We hate using coaches for ski transfers because some family members get car sick so we choose to take a private transfer seeking a driver who can smoothly convey us up the wiggly mountain roads. Our driver was brilliant - never racing, never cornering too fast and very smooth driving style. Everyone arrived on time and he was very courteous and helpful and we enjoyed his company.

Fantastic service with new mini-buses. Great drivers, excellent time-keeping. Knew where they were going. And all at a very good price indeed. Highly recommended.

Journey from Geneva Airport to Montchavin

Alpinbus were very punctual and courteous, both for the pick up from Geneva airport and return to Geneva from the resort. The only negative (and this is quite minor) was that the driver on the way back to Geneva airport was always pushing and was never far from the car in front.

Journey from Geneva airport to Plagne Bellecote

I booked two separate journeys for different people and specified their names. The driver turned up with the wrong name so my cousin was confused as to where to find him. Secondly, I had booked to have my cousin dropped off in Plagne Bellecote. The driver didn't know how to get there and planned to drop him off in Montalbert. There are no public transport routes to get to there so how would I have picked my cousin up? Once they did arrive, the driver argued with me that I'd booked it wrong. I showed him the email that clearly said 'Plagne, Bellecote' and he continued to argue. I am considering swapping companies for the separate trip on Thursday as I am not convinced that you are reliable enough to come up to Bellecote.

Journey from Salzburg to Saalbach-Hinterglemm

Car on return leg was too small to accommodate three large cases as requested in original order. Poor communications about departure time on return leg.
