About Cool Runnings Airport Transfers

We are a dynamic transfer company based in Val Thorens, The Three Valleys, France. We have been based here for the last 20 years and there is nothing much we don’t know about the area. Cool Runnings are fully insured, licenced by the French Ministry of Transport (Licence No 2023/84/0002836).

We provide private airport transfers with competitive prices, linking Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon, Moutiers and surrounding cities to the Alpine resorts of the French Three Valleys and the Tarentaise.

Our office is based in the Three Valleys Resort of Val Thorens, so we are perfectly placed to provide transfers to the resorts located in the Three Valleys.

Vehicles in the fleet

Our vehicles consist of highly maintained Mercedes V-Class, Mercedes Vito, VW Caravelle and Renault Traffic minibuses with passenger controlled automatic climate control, snow tyres and chains. All vehicles have ample space for luggage as well as skis and boards for all the passengers to ensure that you travel in comfort. All vehicles are registered, licenced and fully Insured under the French Law.

Journey from Geneva Airport to La Rosière

Find Transfers were excellent - very easy to use and good communication all the way . Cool Runnings were excellent - Ricardo was a great driver and friendly , helped with bags etc and the whole think was really smooth , especially as I was travelling on my own . I would recommend both FindTransfers and Cool Runnings to anyone looking for a airport transfer

Journey from Geneva Airport to Les Arcs 1950

Coolrunnings were really excellent. Communication was very helpful and precise. The driver was very patient and stopped off in two different towns on the way to Les Arcs to help us find a pharmacy offeringcovid tests required for the kid’s Passe Sanitaire the next day. Andrew in HQ was reassuring about Swiss regulations for the return transfer. Most importantly, one of our kids often gets car sick but both the drivers were very careful on the mountain roads and so this wasn’t an issue. Will use again.

Journey from Lyon Airport to Val Thorens

Lyon to Val Thorens was excellent . On time , nice car and driver. From Val Thorens to Lyon - there was a big storm with many problems on the road. Our driver didn't arrive nor communicated his status. The company (after an hour and a half of delay) sent an alternative driver. The new driver was excellent and saved the day bringing us to the airport at the last minute. So if judging by end result - excellent But no doubt we should have been better informed and I have no way to know if the original driver took reasonable margins (as bad weather was expected) or did not and caused this inconvenience.

We found our taxi at the train station of Moutiers exactly on the agreed time ! And the price was exactly the same that you said. I recommend this company !
