About Cool Runnings Airport Transfers

We are a dynamic transfer company based in Val Thorens, The Three Valleys, France. We have been based here for the last 20 years and there is nothing much we don’t know about the area. Cool Runnings are fully insured, licenced by the French Ministry of Transport (Licence No 2023/84/0002836).

We provide private airport transfers with competitive prices, linking Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon, Moutiers and surrounding cities to the Alpine resorts of the French Three Valleys and the Tarentaise.

Our office is based in the Three Valleys Resort of Val Thorens, so we are perfectly placed to provide transfers to the resorts located in the Three Valleys.

Vehicles in the fleet

Our vehicles consist of highly maintained Mercedes V-Class, Mercedes Vito, VW Caravelle and Renault Traffic minibuses with passenger controlled automatic climate control, snow tyres and chains. All vehicles have ample space for luggage as well as skis and boards for all the passengers to ensure that you travel in comfort. All vehicles are registered, licenced and fully Insured under the French Law.

Journey from Genève Aéroport to Tignes

The car was late for an hour at the airport at arrival, referring to road bad accident, but arrived at their destination quickly and we were hoping that this will not happen again on the way back. But even when returning to the airport, the car was 30 minutes late. It's good that we ordered time with a margin, and arrived on time. Insufficient punctuality, good driver and car.

Journey from chalet bruyeres to Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport

They texted me the night before to confirm the time and directions. The drivers arrived on time and helped load the ski luggage in the 2 vans. They were friendly and chatty on the road. We arrived at the airport early with no problems.

Easy and good communication. The only small issue was trouble fitting our luggage, skiing and snowboarding equipment, but it worked out.

Very professional and polite. 1) When I submitted wrong departure time, these guys corrected my mistake. This protected us from being late to the plane. 2) Heavy snow caused later transfer start, but driver was a professional - he drove us safe at quite high speed to catch the plane in time. Such a pleasure having Andy and his team bring 14 of us to and from Lyon Airport to Val Thorens last week. Would absolutely use Cool Runnings again, travelling by private transfer door to door saved so much hassle and the prices were very competitive too.
