About Alpinbus

Alpinbus is your ultimate choice to private airport transfers in the Alpine region across southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, French and the Italian Alps . Our experienced drivers will wait you upon your arrival and will drive you from the airport, railway station, hotel or anywhere you need.

With a private transfer, your trip is set up for comfort, speed and freedom. You no longer have to study the routes and schedules of public transport, frantically check the time for fear of being late and carry heavy luggage.

We use 8-seater minibuses, so any group up to this number on a private transfer would normally travel together in one vehicle. If you book a private transfer for 10 passengers, you will leave in two private minibuses as soon as you arrive. You can spread the group over both minibuses, however you would like.

Minibuses are fully equipped for safe Alpine driving - air conditioning, snow tyres and chains.

Vehicles in the fleet

Alpinbus fleet consists of long wheel base 8-seater Volkswagen, Renault, Opel, Mercedes and Ford minibuses and they are new. We usually rotate our vehicles every 2 and a half years so you can rest assured that you will always be collected in an up-to-date model.

Minibuses are fully equipped for safe Alpine driving - air condition, snow tyres, chains, etc.

Journey from Geneva Airport to Le Biot

I used Alpinbus for several transfers over the week. The very last driver we had was superb and a credit to the company but it has to be said the first driver was very poor, spoke very little English (after I had been assured all the drivers spoke English); did not know where our chalet was (expecting me to know); the seat belt that one of our group was using had dried sick on it and the driver was also very unhelpful when it came to us taking some extra luggage from some our party who were following us (once they had collected a hire car). Texts confirming driver's details and collection times arrived late, often with the incorrect details e.g. "the driver will collect you tomorrow" on the day they were supposed to be collecting, or, they were not sent until I chased for confirmation (on one occasion at 22:00p.m. the night before a 05:15a.m. collection!) All the drivers contact numbers were also "Latvian" and I thought Alpinbus was an Austrian company! The ratings below take account of all the vehicles and drivers used (not just the first one!)

Hello Daniella, Thank you for review. I would like to explain situation with your 1st journey. Driver didn't know exact route to your Chalet, because address what was in booking was not correct. We compared drop-off GPS coodinates with address what was in booking, and difference was about 1km. For your next journeys, drivers had no issues to find your Chalet, because they knew exact coordinates. Regarding SMS messages - yes, we agree. Our system was sending automatic messages and message with text "the driver will collect you tomorrow", if message was sent on the same day as planned pickup was confusing. Your travel dates were very bussy for us and customers made a lot of amendments, which was necessary to accept. Therefore me made late driver reschedulings many times. Now, we switched off automatic SMS for late driver schedulings. Regarding seat belts - we checked seat belts and they are fine. Vehicle for your 1st jouney was new Ford Torneo minibus, year 2016. Journey from Geneva to Tignes

Our flight was delayed by nearly an hour. Our driver waited, made himself visible and was kind and helpful. On our return journey the driver was 15 minutes early and had been made aware of our late change of destination plans. He too was very helpful with luggage.

Excellent service, texted and emailed arrangements day before pick ups. Driver met us on arrival at airport, helped with luggage back to vehicle. Very clean, safe vehicles and helpful drivers on both journeys. Would definitely recommend and use again..!! Thank you

Journey from MUNICH AIRPORT to OBERTAUERN

Really good. The best price I found online. Driver was waiting at the airport when we arrived. Parked right outside so no walking with our luggage. Collected us on time for our return journey. Good communications and text reminders etc. Friendly chatty driver. Thank you. Was a good experience.

Well organised, professional, value for money service. We changed our arrival plans a couple of times and Alpinbus were more than helpful in accommodating the changes in a timely and efficient manner. Our flight was also early so we texted the driver and he arrived when asked so didn't have to wait around thankfully and got us to the resort with no fuss or drama and was happy to stop for a supermarket sweep on the way!. On way back arrived on time as requested. Overall we were impressed with the flexibility, organisation and value for money Alpinbus provided. Thank you Ian Morgan

Overall excellent. Slightly late on pick up from airport but then worked hard to navigate round major crash on motorway and still found time to stop for refreshments. Early for return pick up and very smooth drive back.
